INNOLTEK was founded and established in Thetford Mines in March 2010 to commercialize a line of biodegradable lubricant products developed by a College Technology Transfer Centre. In March 2014, INNOLTEK began the production of biodiesel, a renewable fuel. In November 2017, INNOLTEK acquired the assets of QFI biodiesel, including a plant with a capacity of 12 million liters located in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. In October 2018, INNOLTEK continued its development by concentrating all its operations in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
Innoltek's MISSION is to be a manufacturer of high-quality biodiesel that is the highest performing environmentally to serve eastern Canada fuel distributors market. Innoltek's mission is also to develop the use of biodiesel as a fuel to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Quebec.
